Survivor stories aim to boost HPV shots in kids
NCT ID NCT06808776
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a short video of cancer survivors sharing their stories can encourage parents to get their 9- to 12-year-old children the HPV vaccine, which prevents several cancers. About 200 parents of unvaccinated children will be randomly assigned to watch either the survivor video or a general health video before a doctor's visit. The main goal is to see if more children in the survivor-video group get their first HPV shot.
