First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special education program about stoma care can help people with a urostomy (a surgically created opening for urine) improve their self-care skills and life satisfaction. Researchers will measure knowledge, self-care abilities, confidence, and quality of life in 60 participants. The goal is to see if teaching patients how to manage their stoma leads to better daily living and emotional well-being.
