Steroid shot could ease agony after kidney stone surgery

NCT ID NCT07223580

Summary

This study is testing if adding a steroid medication (prednisone) to standard pain medicine helps people feel better after surgery to remove kidney stones. Researchers will enroll 90 adults who are having this surgery and getting a temporary internal tube called a stent. They will measure pain levels, medication use, and quality of life to see if the steroid makes recovery easier.
