First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a low-dose steroid pill to a standard vitiligo surgery (NCES) can prevent white halos and improve skin color. About 60 people with stable vitiligo will be randomly assigned to get surgery alone or surgery plus steroids. The goal is to see if the combination leads to better, more even repigmentation over 4 months.
