Study aims to crack the code on safer steroid reduction
NCT ID NCT06072768
Summary
This study is testing different schedules to help people with rheumatoid arthritis safely reduce their steroid medication. Researchers want to understand why some people struggle when lowering their dose while others don't. They'll follow 200 participants to see which tapering approach works best based on individual characteristics like inflammation levels and pain sensitivity.
