First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study compares adding two different steroids to the standard pain injection given during total knee replacement surgery. The goal is to see which option reduces pain, lowers the need for opioid painkillers, and improves knee movement and recovery. About 240 adults with severe knee arthritis will be randomly assigned to one of three injection groups and followed for a year.
