Summary
This study tests a highly targeted radiation treatment called stereotactic partial breast irradiation (S-PBI) for women with early-stage breast cancer. The treatment uses a special device called the GammaPod to deliver radiation in just 5 sessions, focusing on the tumor while sparing healthy tissue. The goal is to control the cancer and maintain good breast appearance (cosmesis) over 3 years. About 74 women are participating in this multi-center trial.
