First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study compares two ways of providing early palliative care to people with advanced cancer. In one group, everyone sees a specialist. In the other, only those with moderate-to-severe symptoms get a referral. The goal is to see if the targeted approach works just as well for quality of life. About 652 adults with stage IV cancer are taking part.
