Stem cell boost for shoulder surgery: could repeated injections heal rotator cuff tears faster?
NCT ID NCT07592936
First seen May 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether injecting a patient's own fat-derived stem cells into the shoulder muscle, alongside standard surgery, improves healing for torn rotator cuffs. Thirty adults with a confirmed tear will be randomly assigned to surgery alone or surgery plus stem cell injections. The goal is to see if the added treatment leads to better shoulder function and less pain.
