Stem cell shot trial aims to mend painful finger sores

NCT ID NCT03211793

Summary

This study is testing whether injections of donor stem cells can help heal painful, open sores on the fingers of people with scleroderma. It will involve 20 participants who have ulcers that haven't improved with standard treatments. The main goal is to first check if the treatment is safe, while also looking for signs it might help the sores heal, reduce pain, and improve hand function.
