Stem cell shot aims to rescue failing kidneys

Summary
This study is testing whether stem cells from umbilical cords can help treat sudden kidney failure, known as acute kidney injury. Researchers will give the cells to 50 patients to see if they improve kidney function and reduce the need for dialysis. The main goal is to check if the treatment is safe and helps lower a key waste product in the blood called creatinine.
