One Man's last hope: his own stem cells to fight stroke damage

NCT ID NCT04907188

Summary

This study tested an experimental treatment for one man who had a stroke and had no other treatment options left. Doctors gave him six infusions of his own specially processed stem cells, taken from his body fat, to see if they were safe and could help him recover. The goal was to see if this approach could improve his condition after his stroke.
