Summary
This study looks at whether getting a stem cell transplant right away is as good as getting other treatments first and then the transplant for people with high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). About 236 adults will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The goal is to see which approach leads to better disease-free survival two years after the transplant.
