Summary
This study tests an experimental stem cell transplant for young people with severe Crohn's disease that hasn't responded to standard medications. Doctors wipe out the overactive immune cells and replace them with the patient's own blood stem cells, aiming to 'reset' the immune system to a healthier state. The goal is to achieve long-term disease control for patients who have exhausted other treatment options.
