Summary

This study tested a two-step stem cell transplant for people with high-risk blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma. First, patients received low-dose chemotherapy and radiation to weaken their cancer and immune system. Then, they got donor stem cells and immune cells to help fight remaining cancer. The goal was to improve disease-free survival, but patients may need ongoing care after transplant.
