Early trial tests stem cell shot for lupus control
NCT ID NCT06737380
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether adding a single injection of stem cells from umbilical cords to standard lupus treatment is safe and tolerable. It will involve 10 adults with active lupus to see if the therapy can reduce disease activity and improve kidney function. The main goal is to check for side effects while gathering initial clues about whether this approach could help control the disease.
