Summary

This early study tests if injecting a person's own fat stem cells into the upper gut can safely improve blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes. The approach aims to reduce inflammation and help the body respond better to insulin. Fifteen adults with diabetes will be enrolled to check safety and see if blood sugar levels improve over 12 months.
