Doctors test direct stem cell shot to save failing kidney transplants
NCT ID NCT05456243
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a new treatment is safe for people whose body is rejecting a transplanted kidney. Doctors will infuse special cells, taken from donor fat tissue, directly into the artery of the transplanted kidney. The main goal is to see if this procedure is safe and if it can help calm the immune system's attack on the new organ.
