Sniffing your way to stroke recovery? new nasal spray trial begins
NCT ID NCT07398612
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a nasal spray containing tiny particles from human fat stem cells can help the brain heal after a stroke. The spray is given alongside standard care to see if it's safe and if it can improve recovery of movement and thinking. The trial will first test single doses in 12 people with mild strokes, then move to daily doses for 14 days in 48 people with moderate strokes.
