Tiny 'STAR' particles poke skin to boost future creams

NCT ID NCT06004973

Summary

This study tested a new way to apply tiny 'STAR' particles to the skin. The particles create microscopic openings to help future creams and gels work better. Researchers applied the particles to the arms, hands, and faces of 20 healthy volunteers to find the best application method. No actual medications were used in this initial test.
