Summary
This study tests whether a toothpaste with stannous fluoride works better than regular fluoride toothpaste at reducing dental plaque and gum inflammation (gingivitis). About 85 adults with mild to moderate gum disease will brush twice daily for 6 months. Dentists will measure plaque and gum health at the start and end of the study.
