NCT ID NCT07115836
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study compares a newer, simpler weight-loss surgery (SADI) with the standard more complex bypass in people who already had a partial stomach removal. The goal is to see if the simpler method causes fewer digestive and nutritional problems while still helping with weight loss and related health issues like diabetes. About 63 adults who had a prior gastrectomy and still have obesity or weight regain will be randomly assigned to one of the two surgeries and followed for up to 5 years.
