First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving nurses and staff the authority to give the HPV vaccine without a doctor's order (called standing orders) can increase vaccination rates in teens. About 16,000 patients aged 9-17 from 40 medical practices will take part. The goal is to prevent HPV-related cancers by making it easier for teens to get vaccinated.
