Stair signs and pop music may nudge commuters to healthier habits
NCT ID NCT07639814
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study will test whether placing signs that encourage stair use, with or without upbeat pop music, can persuade more subway passengers to take the stairs instead of the escalator. Researchers will count how many people choose the stairs at a station in Chile. The goal is to see if simple environmental changes can boost everyday physical activity.
