NCT ID NCT07020988
First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tested how quickly Staccato alprazolam (an inhaled sedative) starts working compared to two other sedatives given through a vein or nose. Fifty-five healthy adults received single doses of each drug, and their brain activity was measured using an EEG. The goal was to see which drug caused the fastest changes in brain waves, helping researchers understand the onset of action.
