First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether measuring drug levels in the blood can help doctors personalize antidepressant doses for people aged 12 and older with major depression. Participants will receive one of three common antidepressants (fluoxetine, sertraline, or escitalopram), and doses will be adjusted based on blood tests and symptom checks. The goal is to improve symptom relief, reduce side effects, and create better dosing guidelines for young people.
