Sit your way to less back pain? study tests squats and Cross-Legged postures
NCT ID NCT06852677
Summary
This study tested whether two simple daily sitting positions could help adults with long-term low back pain. For six weeks, participants practiced either deep squats or cross-legged sitting for 20 minutes a day. Researchers measured if these postures reduced pain, improved flexibility, and helped with digestion compared to a group that did not practice them.
