Summary
This study looks at whether spironolactone, a drug already used for fluid retention, can help people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) exercise longer and improve blood vessel function. About 70 adults with PAH will take either spironolactone or a placebo for 24 weeks. Researchers will measure walking distance, heart and lung function, and signs of inflammation.
