Can spiritual support help people with advanced cancer live longer?
NCT ID NCT07290491
Summary
This large study is testing whether adding spiritual care from a chaplain or psychotherapy/meditation sessions to standard medical care helps people with advanced, incurable cancer live longer. It will also measure if these supportive services improve patients' quality of life and reduce stress for their caregivers and doctors. The trial is comparing the combination of standard care plus these supportive services against standard care alone.
