New study tests best therapy for traumatized teens with chronic illness

Summary

This study looks at two types of talk therapy for young people (ages 8-18) who have a long-term medical condition and have experienced trauma. The goal is to see which therapy works better to reduce trauma symptoms and improve daily life. Participants will join group therapy sessions and, if needed, individual therapy, and will be checked every 12 weeks for about a year.
