First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study is testing how well a tool called intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) works during spine surgery. IONM alerts surgeons to potential spinal cord damage. Researchers want to make the alert system more accurate. About 500 adults having neck or upper back surgery will take part, and their health will be checked 6 months later.
