Summary
This study aims to find people at risk for a serious heart condition called ATTR amyloidosis by checking tissue saved from their past lower back surgeries. Researchers will test the tissue for a specific protein and invite some participants for heart tests to see if the condition is present. The goal is to spot the heart problem earlier when treatments might work better.
