Spine scanner study ends early after just 2 patients
NCT ID NCT05195580
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This small study tested a new 3D scanning device that aims to help surgeons see the position of a patient's spine bones during surgery. The device scans the exposed bone and matches it to pre-surgery MRI or CT images. Only 2 people took part before the study was stopped, so the results are very limited.
