Spinal shot vs IV drip: which eases hysterectomy pain better?

NCT ID NCT05654363

Summary

This study looked back at 670 women who had hysterectomy surgery to compare two pain relief methods. Researchers wanted to see if giving morphine through a spinal injection works better and is safer than giving it through an IV drip during the first two days after surgery. The goal was to find which approach provides better pain control with fewer side effects and helps women recover faster.
