New approach aims to help older adults walk without surgery
NCT ID NCT06023498
Summary
This study is preparing for a larger trial to test whether manual therapy, exercise, and a form of electroacupuncture can help people with lumbar spinal stenosis. The goal is to reduce pain, improve walking ability, and potentially limit the need for spinal surgery. Researchers will work with 60 older adults at two medical centers to see if the study methods are practical before launching a full-scale trial.
