Summary

This study tested whether adding fentanyl or dexmedetomidine to a standard spinal anesthetic could help people recover faster after day-case anal surgery. 159 adults aged 18-70 participated. The goal was to see how quickly sensation and movement returned, and when patients could safely go home.
