New stimulation technique aims to Fine-Tune leg movement in spinal cord injury

Summary

This study is testing a new way to use electrical stimulation on the back to help people with spinal cord injury move their legs. The goal is to see if changing the timing and strength of the stimulation can target specific muscles better than current methods. 48 adults with chronic spinal cord injury will participate. The study measures changes in leg muscle strength and activation.
