First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at how spinal anesthesia, commonly used for planned C-sections, affects the baby's nervous system. Researchers will monitor 50 pregnant women and their babies using a special device that tracks heart rate patterns. The goal is to see if the anesthesia causes any stress to the baby and to find better ways to predict and prevent complications like low blood pressure in the mother.
