First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study is testing whether computer analysis of speech can reliably detect changes in movement, mood, and thinking in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will record and analyze voices from 80 participants while they perform tasks, aiming to find patterns linked to medication effects or deep brain stimulation. The goal is to develop a non-invasive tool to monitor disease fluctuations more objectively.
