New online program aims to help people with dementia-related speech loss communicate better

Summary
This study tests whether online speech-language therapy can help people with primary progressive aphasia (PPA) communicate better. PPA is a type of dementia that slowly damages speech and language. The program includes therapy sessions and training for care partners. About 21 people with PPA and their care partners will take part in virtual sessions and complete questionnaires to see if the program is helpful and easy to use.
