Bridging the language gap: new tool aims to empower latina breast cancer survivors

Summary
This study is creating a Spanish-language version of a proven decision aid to help Latina breast cancer survivors understand their breast reconstruction options after mastectomy. Researchers are working with 50 Spanish-speaking Latina survivors to adapt the tool to be culturally and linguistically appropriate. The goal is to improve knowledge and support better, more informed decisions about reconstruction care.
