First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study is creating a Spanish-language version of a decision aid called BREASTChoice to help Spanish-speaking Latina breast cancer survivors make informed choices about breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Researchers will work with 50 women to adapt the tool culturally and linguistically. The goal is to improve knowledge and reduce regret, since these women currently have less access to reconstruction information and services.
