Sensory booth aims to calm troubled youth, ease anger and anxiety
NCT ID NCT07364799
Summary
This study is testing a new sensory tool called the HealPod to help teens in juvenile detention manage difficult emotions like anger and anxiety. The pod uses sound, gentle vibrations, and light during a 5-minute session, followed by journaling and therapy. Researchers want to see if this approach helps the teens feel calmer, build better coping skills, and engage more in their treatment.
