Can gentle nighttime sounds calm epileptic brainwaves?
NCT ID NCT03198494
Summary
This study is testing whether playing very low, gentle sounds through headphones during sleep can help reduce seizures and abnormal brain activity in adults with epilepsy. Researchers are checking if people can comfortably use the sound system at home every night and measuring if it makes a difference in seizure frequency. The goal is to develop a simple, non-drug approach that patients can use long-term to better control their condition.
