New drug offers hope for hard-to-treat lung cancer patients

Summary
This study tests whether sotorasib is safe and effective as the first treatment for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific KRAS G12C mutation. Participants have not yet received any treatment for their advanced cancer. The study will monitor tumor response using CT scans every 6 weeks.
