NCT ID NCT05818137
First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested a drug called sotatercept (MK-7962) added to standard therapy for 46 Japanese adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a condition where high blood pressure in the lungs makes it hard to breathe and move. The main goal was to see if the drug improves blood flow in the lungs and to check for side effects over 24 weeks. Results help confirm whether this add-on treatment is safe and effective for Japanese patients.
