First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether special filters (sorption technologies) can lower inflammation in people on long-term hemodialysis for kidney failure. About 60 adults with high inflammation levels will receive the filter during their regular dialysis sessions. The main goal is to see if levels of an inflammation marker called IL-6 decrease from the start of the study.
