First seen May 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026
Summary
This study checks if a computer program called Soma can correctly measure muscle and fat from CT scans. Researchers will compare Soma's results to measurements made by three expert radiologists using 200 CT scans from public databases. The goal is to see if the software is accurate enough to help diagnose conditions like sarcopenia (muscle loss) and obesity without needing manual work.
