Summary
This study is testing whether giving sodium lactate through an IV can help the brain heal after a severe traumatic injury. It will involve 264 patients in intensive care units across 10 medical centers. The research aims to find the safest, most effective dose and see if this treatment improves brain metabolism and survival rates compared to a placebo.
