Free rides and meals may help liver cancer patients start treatment

NCT ID NCT07568457

First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether offering practical help—like free rides, temporary housing, and meal delivery—can reduce delays in starting cancer treatment for low-income people with liver cancer. About 75 adults who are uninsured or underinsured will be randomly assigned to receive these social supports or standard care. The goal is to see if more patients begin treatment within 90 days.
